This article pertains to :
- Standalone Dimmer (LCDIMMER)
- Hub Dimmer (LCHUB)
- Phase Dimmer (LCDIMMER/PD)
- Touch Panel (LCTOUCH)
By default, a dimmer in an area will be assigned to control all Lightcloud enabled luminaires within that area. If you desire, you may remove any number of luminaires from control.
You may find the settings for this in the devices screen under the device edit menu. We provide 2 controls for setting up which devices are controlled by a dimmer.
- Control Zones: This is a list of Lightcloud devices that are assigned to this dimmer. We list all devices that are located in the same area as the dimmer. From this list, you may select or deselect any number of the lighting devices in the area. When you change the selected devices in the list, it will modify the second property, Default
- Default:
- When Default is selected, the dimmer will automatically be reconfigured to control ALL devices within the area. Any time a new device is added to the area, the dimmer will be updated to control that device automatically as long as Default is enabled.
- When Default is not selected, the dimmer will only control devices that are currently set in Control Zones. New devices added to the area will not be automatically added to the dimmer.
On the LCHub, You may not assign a luminaire which has been grouped into a different area to be controlled by a dimmer.
Only devices which are grouped into the same area may be switched or dimmed.
