The Gateway stores all local site information (energy monitoring, schedules, scenes, and more) and communicates with RAB’s servers via private 4G cellular connection, so no internet access is required. Gateways are available for AT&T or Verizon and should be chosen based on the strongest cellular connection at your site.

The Gateway connects locally with up to 200 other Lightcloud devices to create a large mesh network.
The Gateway has an internal cellular modem and securely and automatically connects to the cloud via a proprietary communication method, so no Ethernet or corporate network is needed.
Multiple Gateways can seamlessly be used in a single site. From the Web App, you only see one site and scenes are global, so you can control any zone in the system regardless of the Gateway it’s associated.
The Gateway stores data locally, so in the unlikely event that a Gateway loses connection to the cloud, all local controls and schedules will operate normally.
