How do I get the Lightcloud Blue mobile app?
RAB Lighting will send you an email invitation to access the Lightcloud Blue app through a third-party app called TestFlight.
What is TestFlight and why do I need it?
TestFlight is a beta testing app used by app developers to test beta versions of their app.
How to Access the Lightcloud Blue mobile app?
1. Go to App Store and search for TestFlight and install the app. This is a one-time download.
2. Open the invitation email from your phone. Click “View TestFlight”.
3. If the app tries to open the link in the TestFlight app, click ‘Cancel’ to allow it to open the link in a browser.
4. An 8-letter redemption code will appear, notate this code.
5. Open TestFlight and click ‘Redeem’ in the top right corner.
6. Enter the redemption code notated from the TestFlight link.
7. Confirm installation of the Lightcloud Blue app.
8. Click ‘Open’. The Lightcloud Blue app is now downloaded as a separate app and can be accessed in or outside of TestFlight.
9. The Lightcloud Blue app will request permission to use Bluetooth, select ‘OK’ to allow.
10. A message from the developer indicating the most recent updates to the app and suggested features to test.
11. Share feedback with RAB directly in the app, click ‘Start Testing’ to access the Lightcloud Blue user interface.

What is APK Installer and why do I need it?
APK Installer is a third-party app that allows your Android device to download apps as .apk files. RAB will send a link to download the Lightcloud Blue Beta App as an .apk file.
How to Access the Lightcloud Blue mobile app?
1.Go to Google Play Store and download the ‘APK Installer’ app. This is a one-time download.
2. Search for ‘APK Installer’
3. Select ‘Install’. Once installed, open the app
4. Before proceeding, APK Installer needs permission to install unknown apps
5. Go to Settings > select ‘Biometrics and Security’
6. Select ‘Install Unknown apps’
7. Select ‘APK Installer’
8. Click the toggle button to ‘Allow from this source’
9. Open the Dropbox link that was shared with you and click the file’s menu
10. Select ‘Export’
11. Select ‘Save to device’
12. Open the APK Installer app
13. Select ‘Install APKs’
14. Search the folder that the file downloaded to. *Tip: New files commonly go to the ‘Download’ folder
15. Check the box for the Lightcloud Blue app and click ‘Install’ *Tip: Be sure to delete older versions of the LCB app before downloading the newest version.
16. Confirm installation of the application
